Yes I have been following that project. I have seen the latest beta. But they are diverting the beos5 route. I think with the latest beta they are now more similar to other all inclusive os. And these os were started when using the mouse was a craze. I think the latest beta has brought the os into mainstream use. I take this opportunity to congratulate the whole team of #haiku

Aah now I remember. I was not remembering the multimedia os I had tried during my os hopping. Yes it was beos5. An os built to rip the audio and video streams and play them effortlessly on the beginning x86 processors. The audio and video players worked out of the box. No drivers, nothing. I really miss those days. My pc had a different os every other day. Never did any other useful work. The quantum 10gb hard drive stayed upto the task. Aah.....

@[email protected] I remember my 815 board. I got in 2000; Pentium 3 667Mhz. I had a quad boot: Windows ME, Windows 2000, Slackware Linux and BeOS 5 (using the BeOS bootloader because it was the most colorful).
