@spiderdaynightlive Hello! I'm a former Twitter person who has jumped over to the gentle seas of Mastodon. Happy to connect with you here.
Wondering if you can use your expertise once again by identifying this many legged friend?
I'm lying on my bed at 2.30 AM, listening to Erasure.
I tire of daily doom.
Desperately wanting to feel wanted and worthwhile.
Why is it that nearly every direct message from a randomer ends up angling towards something sexual? Even when the person claims they're "just trying to make friends?"
I've been an internet user since 1995; these tricks do not affect me, a jaded denizen of these cyber halls.
Recently had someone throw shade at me over the fact I have no followers here. As if I care? I can speak without meddlesome critiques.
I have just recieved a beautiful voicemail.
It says, "Suck my cock."
Happy Monday. 🫠
These are two invaluable lessons I've learned in life:
1) There is immense power in admitting you don't know something.
2) The idea that "this is a bad time," is false. There is never a "good time." We just have to do the best we can with what we have, in the time allotted to us.
Also, let the record show that I only ever refer to Bill Murray as Thrill Murray.
You have been warned.
I adore Bill Murray.
On that note, Lost In Translation is somehow a comfortable film for me to watch, which is ironic, as it is largely about people "not fitting in."
