Hello there! I'm Slyther, typically going by the online alias of sparkledooks since I'm a sparkly ferret --- and ferrets go dook!
I've been off-and-on in the fandom since I was 11 during the times when FA was the centralized furry hub. Yes my joints do ache these days, why do you ask? I recently hopped onto my on-phase roughly around 6 years ago and with it came the creation of my most personally identifiable fursona being Slyther and my exploration into babyfur and littlespace!
Slyther was created as your typical self-insert fursona that leaned into my fondness for ferrets and their silly antics, my fondness for eastern and disneyfied depictions of the fae---in particular the eastern lens applied to the fae resulting in a much more playful, bratty, teasing, and whimsical representation than what is typically seen in Gaelic folklore. They worst I'll do is bite you, not steal your baby and hold it ransom and or leave you trapped perpetually dancing in a fairy ring until your legs give out.
I'm still exploring this little side of me and in all honesty I'm not sure what I "want" out of babyfur and littlespace. I guess due in large part to the fact that most other littlefurs I've seen that I tried to use for reference take to ageplay as a means of reliving their childhood in some way---but for me my own childhood was painfully uneventful. To the point that I feel like it was borderline neglect how little happened during my cubhood. I can't help but feel like I'm left out given I had nothing of my own to really build my little identity around.
Guess I gotta make my own memories for my self then!
