nena lawa pi jan musi, noka pini pi jan musi
Using pi more than once in a phrase is not official, not pu. jan Pije includes examples of using it twice in phrases. I'm fine with that practice myself, but the rules are questionable.
In my mind, pi means to resolve all modifiers after it, before applying them to the previous phrase. Nobody agrees with me on that and the arguments range from ridiculous pedantry to sublime logic.
But, even if you agree with prevailing wisdom, step carefully!
