yet another instance admin is doing the transmisogyny dance

here we have Aurynn Shaw of cloudisland.nz regurgitating the ancient talking points of attempting to hold trans women accountable for crimes they did not commit because of a belief in carceralism.

the issue Aurynn here has is that an instance does not wish to follow the tenants of KYLR and instead might want to seek a healthy solution which results in safety for everyone.

And as we will see in the second image, because they were not allowed to do that a lot of other people might be made less safe as a result as the abuser in question has been confirmed popped up on a different instance whom Aurynn will not defed from. Surprise! (not really - it was never about the abuser it was about controlling trans women)

Aurynn is not going to defed from mastodon.social because 1) her complaint is apparently about a metaphysical construct surrounding allowing people to exist (ie: refusing to be part of a lynch mob), and 2) her goal is to control trans women as is the motivation of all the other defederators of eightpoint, as we saw recently with tech.lgbt.

We call that transmisogyny.

Aurynn - you desperately want someone to call you a fascist, which is why I won't do it. Instead you should grow the fuck up and stop listening to fascists.

tech.lgbt defederating from eightpoint - how unexpected of them.

"we have trans friends" they cry, as they collectively punish an instance of trans women for the transphobic conspiracy theories invented by a bunch of out-right fascists who claim the old administration is somehow pulling the strings still.

I've said many times before so I'll say it again.

tech.lgbt isn't safe for trans people - you'll be fine so long as you toe the line and remain one of the model minorities, so keep that in mind if you stay. there is a reason I left a long time ago though.

the transphobic harassment campaign was always about power, it was never about accountability - the guilty parties have been accounted for and removed. no-one accepted them back, a single poorly worded message by an admin who was harassed by transphobes for months and then thrust into a position of responsibility is the entire basis for that lie.

apparently, the internet remains on its shit. so here is the deal; last year amidst a series of accusations levelled at a server - not a person - I took a stance on something I didn’t know enough about.

I performed an act of transmisogyny because me and the admin of the server had a personal beef. however because I am not a fascist, after being confronted about my bigotry I did some investigation and turned up the actual fucking truth rather than half-baked bullshit.

here we have another instance admin spreading the same transmisogynistic disinformation campaign that led to an entire instance of trans women being labelled abusers. this time with a sprinkling of the old “all white trans women are nazis” transmisogyny for extra flavour.

my conclusion is that rage.love is very likely unsafe for trans people.
