Just do it like the US govt and use code words; $435 for a hammer, $600 for a toilet seat, and $7000 for a coffee maker (1980’s dollars adjusted for inflation $1315, $1814, and $21159 respectively). How else would we keep secret projects “off” the books?

Murican’ here. The only place I prefer Fahrenheit is in weather mainly for how ironically base 10 it scales for human related comfortability for outdoor activity.

Last time I ordered from Amazon they couldn’t even arsed to ship my product (their warehouse to courier) within 10 days of ordering it. Even then it came used missing parts listed as new. Get your slop faster now I guess

The only misunderstanding is that it is only a metaphor and not actually biologically correct for frogs in the literal sense. It is absolutely applicable in human behavior, observable, and easily replicated. Is coffee or alcohol an actual acquired taste or is it people gradually adapting to change?
