I must admit that my unopened books do not rest in a slot on a shelf, but on the floor of the space I like to call my office, which in fact is a rumble of collectibles that for some reason, unbeknownst even to me, does not get organized.
Reading the last chapter of a book first gives me the unspeakable satisfaction of knowing that in the end all will be well.
