I'm happy to announce that #SnowflakeOS and its related projects from @vlinkz is joining #SnowfallOrg!
I've been extremely excited with the work that @vlinkz has been doing. We found there was some overlap with what Snowfall Lib could provide for SnowflakeOS and bringing the projects under the same roof will make it much easier to coordinate!

We are excited to announce the initial release of Icicle, the new installer for SnowflakeOS and NixOS based distributions. Icicle is built using gtk4 and libadwaita and is highly customizable. You can try it out in our latest ISO available at https://snowflakeos.org/ or check out Icicle itself on GitHub: https://github.com/snowflakelinux/icicle

In my opinion, NixOS is a great operating system and is very straightforward and stable once you learn how to use it, however for someone without knowledge about Nix or who has never heard of NixOS, it can be very confusing.
