An AI video tool just launched, and it’s already copying Disney’s IP

Luma’s demonstration reels for its text-to-video AI tool show off a prompt-generated movie that mimics Pixar’s look and even plucks one of its characters.

I have terminal cancer and I'm looking for some friends to help me through my loneliness. Can you reblog and give recommendations to help me find a community here?

For videogamers, eldest kid is massively into Ultrakill right now.

I said "Oh, so it's like Quake" and this did not win me any respect.

Mt. Celeste from the hit indie game Celeste, inspired by the mountain, Mt. Celeste, from Canada.

Bit of a long story with this one. Read my post about it on Cohost if you wanna hear about it. :3

My friend had an "Advanced #asteroids clone" sometime in the late 80s for PC. It was very fun, because the graphics were great for it's time but moreso because it was very customizable. Not only did you have about 10 ships with clearly different characteristics to pick from but you could add or remove a gravity center in the middle of the map, set how dense the asteroid field should be and even play against a friend and instead of shooting asteroids try to kill each other in a 1v1.
