Double page from my January 2026 sketch notebook. The simple black line remains my favourite. I remember the early years in the Faculty of Architecture in Palermo. We couldn't use computers and we could only draw by hand with pencils and markers on large blank sheets. Texture, line thickness and grey gradations was all we had.
