Just sitting here watching Raiders of the Lost Ark with the dog while partner makes me some boozy coffee: life is good.

Last night was another awesome session (and gift exchange) with the group I DM. Their party is on the high seas, traveling from island to island collecting items. They found an attacked rowboat, killed some sahuagan, read a couple informative hidden messages, and got to dodge some boulders.
The session 0 actually went great! It will be #curseofstrahd but the new (first-time) DM actually homebrewed us a little one-shot adventure to start and to help the new players get a handle on combat. He did great!
And I love my variant human ranger. Whatever, I don't care, I like rangers. 🏹
@tswan I think I have a similar curse! I always find myself fudging downwards so I don't totally obliterate my players LOL
What module(s) are you DMing now? I just started Curse of Strahd as a player, which I've never played before. Very excited.
Speaking of presents for parties...my players created in-game a tasteless bumper sticker that does radiant damage (long story). So for #Christmas, I've created and had printed the actual bumper stickers for all of them. I can't wait to see their faces 😂

So, nowhere near this amount of work, but I do put together favorite quotes and scenes each year into a little book for my party for Christmas. And yeah, very satisfying project.
