It’s incredible how much the community can add to a game’s quality and variety. Of all the visually stunning games, I remember RDR 2. Its dev cost was astronomical, that’s what made it a legend. And even on the PS4 in 2018, it looked phenomenal. Not everyone can afford such expenses.
The console market is huge, but quality suffers due to closed platforms, limiting modding. Evolution kinda stuck.
