Is open source "tech for good" really under pressure? I seem to see rather more dynamic for open source currently with the dependence on and politicization of big tech. Relevant points in this article, although I disagree with quite a few of the arguments: There are successful business models for open source software beyond grant funding!
Nextcloud, Red Hat (billions of revenue), Acquia (of Drupal CMS) 200+M. Admittedly, a high bar to compare ourselves as Aam Digital 😅

As always, technology like a chatbot has opportunities and risks - especially in humanitarian contexts. But it's quite impressive how some organisations are able to leverage these tools.

Although it still feels in a somewhat early stage, I love the initiative of GovStack to condense requirements and best practices for easy re-use. Such Building Blocks - more and more implemented as #opensource #digitialpublicinfrastructure could maybe finally boost digitization of public services :-)
