i hate every second of using smartphones for everyday tasks tbh

not only are UIs necessarily bad (android going so far as to actively sabotage what little muscle memory one can build on a touch screen), all the abstraction just makes the whole experience unpleasant

there’s too much fumbling around, too much cognitive overhead, too much attention required to do even the most basic of tasks
I've tried using digital organizing apps for years, but nothing has proven as effective as a calendar on the wall. Nothing hidden by convoluted UIs and you aren't boxed into a certain style. Just need to glance quickly to see what's going on.
methinks our lord GNU should combat bloat more perchance, tis afflicting him physically.

Really exited to have the core logic figured out and rigorously tested so I can start working on the cool features like the 9p API, accompanying Emacs mode, and web frontend
It's good to be back

Before I figure out virtualization and install Dendrite I'll want to set up and test automatic reporting and backup systems; don't want any more nasty surprises
