The enigmatic Sussex Tiger Cranefly Nephrotoma sullingtoniensis, only known from one site in the UK until Graeme Lyons & Alice Parfitt found two new sites last year. This one among a fair few on Sunday at Alice's site Hurston Warren and c. 20 days earlier than found last year.
Lispocephala fuscitibia a special #Muscidae of New Forest valley mires. Added to the UK list by Steven Falk a few years ago. Not sure if it's been found outside the New Forest in the UK

Found this tiny wasp with a bicoloured scutellum while sorting a sample of flies. Seems to be a #Encyrtidae Perhaps Encyrtus infidus a parasitoid of Parthenolecanium scale insects ?
Tachytrechus consobrinus #Dolichopodidae with its remarkable, beak-like, projecting silver face. A Nationally Scarce species of acidic mire, this one from the New Forest, one of its strongholds.
