Modern LLMs can search Google to give better answers. Reddit threads often appear as top results.

Let’s say you work in marketing at a chocolate company. This guy wrote a script to find Reddit posts that ChatGPT might read when someone asks it about chocolate. The script writes a reply praising your chocolate, specifically.

When ChatGPT reads the thread, it might tell people about your chocolate.

They did, yes. So if the post had said “Trump marketing reminiscent of Nazi mass murder policy”, it would have been correct.

But it doesn’t - it used the word “slogan”, which is a self-descriptor. The Nazis never used that phrase in reference to theirselves, so the post is misleading.

The post says “today the Trump admin quoted the Nazi mass murder slogan”. The Trump admin did not quote a Nazi mass murder slogan. So, it’s misinformation.
I can’t find any evidence of this being an actual Nazi slogan. Searching for the phrase and filtering by results before this week turns up pretty much nothing.
