There's still good in this world
A country in which students have to make free sandwiches to support fellow students is nothing to celebrate.
Please stop turning the everyday American tragedies into feel-good stories.
Itās good they did it
Itās bad they had to do it.
Hereās why this matters to me. āOrphan crushingā comments only add discouragement. The āOCMā and those doing the help are different humans. When an OCM is operating near you it is good to know there are still people who care enough to save people from it. Itās also good to see as it encourages others to see that they can make a difference.
Yes the machine should be dismantled and good people are working on that. At the same time, anyone blocking the machineās intake, helping slow the machine down or otherwise bandaging its survivors is still to be celebrated. Discouraging this is not helpful.
