Hi out there. Does anyone know any employment law attorneys who will represent black folks in Oregon?

I'm asking on behalf of my mom, who is currently going through hell at her job due to racism. The lovely, subtle type where they "manage you out" while they pretend to be reasonable.

Since we moved to the Pacific NW, it's been the same thing over and over again. It's tiring, and I want to fight back.

If you see this, please boost it.

@isaiah want to know whatโ€™s ironic? Your lack of communication to Stacks devs, save for one, one has thrown in the towel. Elixir has been one of the best stacks devs for stack since day one. Heโ€™s abandoned that business due to this shit show. Shame on you.
@caseyliss Awesome. Really enjoying the app so far. Great job.
@caseyliss are there plans for a โ€œthemeโ€ option or change to the text colors?

This week we get to the bottom of the secrets of the mysterious Puzzle Society, Goldman Sachs can't make money on credit cards, Apple might be getting into college football, and there's a lot of weird follow-up. Typical Summer of Fun stuff!

So let me get this straight. The Supreme Court is only supposed to take cases where there is a real injury and real controversy, but it took the case of a web designer who faked a request by a gay customer for a website design? The guy was actually straight, married and with kids?

Vacate this case.

The Supreme Court is an abomination but damn, it is going to be the best GOTV operation the Dems ever had.
The Supreme Court Is Headed Back to the 19th Century. "The justices again appear poised to pursue a purely theoretical liberty at the expense of the lives of people of color." This 2018 piece by Adam Serwer was right-on. https://www.theatlantic.com/ideas/archive/2018/09/redemption-court/566963/
John Roberts and the Second Redemption Court

The justices again appear poised to pursue a purely theoretical liberty at the expense of the lives of people of color.

Let me get this straight...

Students getting relief from onerous debt is unconstitutional.

But justices secretly getting hundreds of thousands or even millions of dollars in gifts, vacations, and free housing and education for their family members is just fine.

Hello?

Republicans were against student loan forgiveness because they thought it would swing voters toward the Democrats. Killing it will be a lot more impactful.
