Hi out there. Does anyone know any employment law attorneys who will represent black folks in Oregon?

I'm asking on behalf of my mom, who is currently going through hell at her job due to racism. The lovely, subtle type where they "manage you out" while they pretend to be reasonable.

Since we moved to the Pacific NW, it's been the same thing over and over again. It's tiring, and I want to fight back.

If you see this, please boost it.

@scarlet I'm far away, so boosted and wishing best
@scarlet I'm so sorry this is happening to your family. Are you looking to hire and retain a law firm or pro bono?

The Oregon Bar Association has a lawyer referral program where you can get a cut-price hour of consultation with a lawyer in your field of need. They have an even cheaper or pro-bono program called Modest Means.

@scarlet Oregon was racist before it became a state and sadly still is one. Start looking at the bar association.

This is exactly what unions are for in other countries. Sad that they seem so hated in the US, even by the workers.

Good luck with the fight!
