The nice thing about being up since 4am with the puppies was getting to enjoy the pretty pink sunrise on my walk with Ocean.
So nice to enjoy a beautiful moment of calm in between puppy chaos.

Golden Rescue, the rescue I adopted Ocean through, is now accepting adoption applications for Oceanâs puppies.
They are all very sweet, so cute and playful and their mom is the best.
I hope they will find great forever homes.

Off to Kingston with my mom to see the totality and grateful to have found a puppysitter for the day so we can enjoy the eclipse.
Spotted my first heron of the year yesterday at Brownâs Inlet.
Iâve never been so ready for a long weekend.
Looking forward to a weekend of naps, walks with Ocean, and puppy snuggles.
Sheâs such a great mom and doing such an amazing job taking care of all these babies.
The dog distribution system clearly overcompensated for poor Bo-Peep with all these puppies. Theyâre so precious and I know the rescue is going to find great forever homes for them.

I didnât expect this week to involve puppies but Ocean, my recently adopted dog, unexpectedly gave birth to 11 puppies this week (we had no idea she was pregnant even though she went to the vet on Tuesday).
An unexpected week of chaos and cuteness.
Ocean was happy about the spring dusting of snow and enjoyed rolling in the fresh snow this morning.
