Saw my oldest friend today - known each other nearly 50 years, not seen each other in 10. Really lovely. Blokes tend to be lousy at maintaining friendships, myself included, but happily this one carries on.
Someone on Twitter mentioned brown noise a while back and now I'm a brown noise junkie. It's like writing on a plane (where some of my better writing has happened). I can't write with any kind of music on so this is brilliant.
