I found what's perhaps the most powerful passage I have ever read in a library I visited yesterday. It was penned by the inimitable Neil Gaiman (@neilhimself on Mastodon!) in the foreword to A Slip Of The Keyboard, a collection of non-fiction writings by Sir Terry Pratchett.
Few things I've experienced have hit me with the full force of profound loss as this did. RIP Terry Pratchett, you'll forever be missed.
