The servers slow down and balk when there is a big influx.
I promise that when things settle back down I'll go through the list of new followers to try to reconnect to those I knew back in Twitter-ville.

I dreamed I was at a school where there was a relentless number of drill teams and “parade” arts and activities. Marching bands. Baton and rifle twirlers. Dance squads.
Everyone lining up in rank and file up and down the hallways and me weaving in and out doing all I could to negotiate the small bits of remaining free space in between.
We do not know the effect our small gestures, our behavioral models may have cumulatively or eventually.
I choose to stand in the power of that.
