@DataChick JFC. True story: my maternal grandmother (this would be pre WWII) literally thought she was dying because no matter be had ever explained the menstrual cycle to her. My mom as a result gave us every booklet she could find at the doctor's office and told us to ask about anything we didn't understand (I was probably 10 at the time).

@PDXyogini @DataChick @mrdenny I remember the first winter after my family moved from OR back to the Great Lakes region…I was pretty sure humans could not survive winters like those….and then I moved further north LOL

@tristansnell are these convictions felonies? Some states restrict the voting rights of convicted felons as well as their ownership of guns.

@DataChick What was their definition of a data management professional? Someone who only speaks in jargon with other professionals? With no business knowledge?

@sethcotlar it’s beyond not being “woke” (I.e. polite, respectful, thoughtful) — it’s about normalizing hate using some of the oldest, least imaginative tropes out there.

@RollingStone really focused on issues that impact the average American, aren't they?
