Unusual to see adblocker detection on a website actually recommend using a blocker. Normally sites try to deny access to people with adblockers.
And this is (one of the reasons) why I despise the WordPress block editor. Whenever I have the misfortune of opening a block editor page, CPU use goes through the roof. Firefox's about:performance shows 410% CPU utilisation for it, and Task Manager just shows it solidly maxing out on all cores. Does the same thing on my Mac Mini and MacBook, so it's not just a problem with Windows.

Disgusting. I think spammers already have a special place in hell, but having a fake unsubscribe page makes me wish for something worse than that upon them.

Drat. It's no fun waiting in the cold for an hour with 4000 other evacuees while the emergency services determine that yes, this was a false alarm triggered by an idiot.
Argh, Shopify! This is not Artificial Intelligence, this is Real Stupidity™. And when I finally created a dummy store in order to talk to a person (ostensibly), all they could "help" me with was deleting that dummy store. The support advisor was almost as intelligent or competent as the chatbot.
Ugh, spam gets everywhere... Even control boxes at the train station aren't safe from it!

Five years ago, I met and befriended a young man from the eastern European country of Georgia. He had come to the Netherlands seeking asylum. This was because he is bisexual, which is just not accepted there and he was in fear of his life. The authorities looked at a piece of paper that says that it is safe for LGBT people in Georgia, and told him that he would be sent back. I helped him evade deportation and he tried again in another country. That, I have written about at the time. Unfortunately, they too looked at that same piece of paper and sent him back. He was deported to Georgia.
