@Aetiology I had covid back in 2020 and it messed with me for almost two years. I have no delusion that another infection would go well for me.

I think what I find stressful about the thought of moving to a new instance is that all of the smaller ones feel like special-interest clubs for people with Life Passions.

I… am not that kind of person. Both my careers are big-tent things that can accommodate all sorts of shifting interests, and so are my hobbies.

So I don’t know what to do.

@brainwane Sigh. The problem is that I like the big generalist vibe of mastodon.social. All of the smaller instances feel too specialized and limiting.
