As a professional driver, I can confidently say that the recent state of vehicle headlight intensity has made my job much more difficult AND dangerous. And that's not just regarding nighttime driving. There have been numerous moments during daylight hours, or under suboptimal conditions, that oncoming headlights have blazed my vision away.

A London, Ont., optometrist says she's hearing more concerns from patients about difficulty driving in the dark and headlight brightness. Transport Canada is asking drivers, pedestrians and cyclists to share their experiences with vehicle headlight glare through an online survey.
