@20002ist Following at least seven different 311 requests that I’m aware of, DPW towed away the vehicle at 7:50am today. It helped that the vehicle appeared disabled, but the 20 hours between report and resolution won’t work for 99% of 311 requests submitted.

@20002ist That's particularly frustrating in light of continued pedestrian deaths in the neighborhood. DDOT Director Lott was just at an ANC 7D meeting on Monday discussing the rollout plan for expanded use of automated cameras, but without actual enforcement the egregiously, habitually, and willfully negligent drivers will continue to contribute to unnecessary deaths in our community.

@20002ist I noticed an out-of-state vehicle parked on my street this morning with $31,800 in outstanding automated enforcement violations. I recall you having some suggestions a while back over how DC could address this issue, including neighbors submitting info to 311. Did you receive any feedback you could share with me on that?

I’m not sure what’s more impressive: your city’s teams in 3 of the 5 major professional men’s sports leagues making it to their respective league championships within 4 months of each other; or not getting to hoist the trophy in any one of them. As a DC sports fan I know frustration, but that one’s a level up.
