I was just reading the official guidelines for image descriptions from the Swedish Agency for Accessible Media, and it confirms to me that here on Mastodon we are generally using a very high standard of #altText description. And we got here by advising and educating each other, not any professional training, so well done us! 👏👏👏

It's been a long time coming, but it's finally here, the 3rd issue of ++Mag, a quarterly magazine published by Bosnian IT company Klika (I am their community manager).

As a journalist, I am somewhat in charge of different aspects of the magazine. After the great November migration from Twitter (X) to Mastodon happened, I informed my colleagues I wanted to do a piece on Fediverse.

So it happened. As far as I know, this is the first journalistic insight into Fediverse published in Bosnia.

I'd like to thank the outstanding people who helped me to write it down by providing answers: @evan, @atomicpoet , @thomas, @Decad3nce of @trunksapp, @kokan and [email protected] for that excellent @FediDB 😀

The feeling of failure you get from every finished article is not new - you always think you could delve deeper and explain something better. I feel I haven't scratched the surface with this article and the topic of Fediverse.

But this article is basically a conversation starter piece, and I hope it will shed some more light on a great alternative that will be able to spark more civilized conversations across WWW.

AnyType is better explained inside the app via the tutorial than on its website.

And I think that's a shame since it's a solid Notion clone that also works OFFLINE.

well, this was an unexpected morning. my company just announced that it will be closing at the end of the month and everyone will be terminated. on a personal level, i’m 9 months pregnant and scheduled for a c-section in less than a week, which puts me in a tough spot as i know i’m gonna have to take “leave” time. any leads and connections are super appreciated: i’ll be looking for #malwareanalysis, #threatresearch and #threatintel remote roles based in the US. #getfedihired #jobs #jobsearch
