I try to make cool stuff.
software, dogs, cycling, music, drums, birds, pretty pictures, basketball, and anything I can have existential panic about.

aeGis was the first app I ever built.
I was in college, evolving from kernel hacking to the user space and the only thing I really knew how to do was build tools.
aeGis let you text your own phone with secret SMS codes and have it react, including sending back geocoded location data at an interval.
Security is always a top priority for our smartphones. Leaving your phone at the bar or even at a friend's house can leave you open to hacks and lead to the loss of sensitive information. Beyond the lock screen, passwords don't always do enough to protect the information stored on your phone. So, being able to access your phone remotely can be a huge advantage in protecting yourself once your phone is lost.
Found my old YouTube and remembered that I've made so many weird apps.
A lot of them were really outside the box.
Going to take a trek down memory lane with some of the prototype devices I got to keep.
(I used to have all of the devices we shipped)
