I try to make cool stuff.

software, dogs, cycling, music, drums, birds, pretty pictures, basketball, and anything I can have existential panic about.

This woman was accused of a crime that she could not possibly have committed. She was 100% innocent.

She still spent 6 months in jail, lost her home, had her credit destroyed, and went into debt.

Why would a company pay you to come up with the same solutions generated by a chatbot?

The answer is, they don’t want to pay you! It’s that fucking simple!

I see you're feeling despondent about the future. Try asking ChatGPT to cry in the shower for you!

The whole "AI" industry is just based on the hope that they can deskill people fast enough that they'll have to rent back cognitive support systems. Forever.

It's like Uber. Just that they don't try to break existing transportation infrastructures but your brain.

Y'all old

aeGis was the first app I ever built.

I was in college, evolving from kernel hacking to the user space and the only thing I really knew how to do was build tools.

aeGis let you text your own phone with secret SMS codes and have it react, including sending back geocoded location data at an interval.

How to Control and Protect Your Android Phone Over SMS with aeGis

Security is always a top priority for our smartphones. Leaving your phone at the bar or even at a friend's house can leave you open to hacks and lead to the loss of sensitive information. Beyond the lock screen, passwords don't always do enough to protect the information stored on your phone. So, being able to access your phone remotely can be a huge advantage in protecting yourself once your phone is lost.

Found my old YouTube and remembered that I've made so many weird apps.
