Capsule movie #reviews

I spent money on Amazon Prime on a couple of films. First, #3000yearsoflonging with #TildaSwinton and #IdrisAlba — perfect casting and amazing production design. If you are interested in acting and production, well worth it.

Then there was #lylelylecrocodile — about a #CGI singing crocodile in NYC. What drove me to distraction was grammar. One of the two top songs contained “you and I” as in “a place for you and I” instead of “you and me” — (always an editor, I guess).

Okay, so how do I go look at what’s happening (that is, #toots) over on mastodon.art? There’s gotta be a way, right?

So, see, I do have some credentials. Wanna hear a good Jerry Pournelle story?

So what we need, perhaps, is some sort of #structure for titling #toots - whether it’s formatting or simple labels. Out there in the rest of the social media world messages have title lines. It means you can signal what a toot is about so you can flag things. On the one hand, you can sort toots. Or you can use toots as #announcements - an example of which would be publication dates. I’m still a little fuzzy on this, but now a lot of tooting is just discussion.
