There might be Shananigans

Dabbled in many things but not long enough to excel in any of them and have an insatiable appetite for knowledge.

Probably reading (the same section hundreds of times over), talking to plants, running or playing an RPG, playing outside among many other things.

It's hard for me to maintain my focus on any one important thing because ... "oh look! there's this other really important thing over here!"

Hi! 👋

My #introduction:

I'm a 30 something year old person who is growing up exceedingly slowly.

Animals, plants, playing outside, reading, playing/DMing RPGs, learning, and the colour red are all pretty special to me.

The health of the #environment is important to me and I don't like how hard it is to find out what is truly the most environmentally responsible thing to do.

Human behaviour fascinates me so much I decided to do an undergrad in it. I still don't know why I do what I do nor can I read minds. 😆

Spent some time learning about #economics

Learned some inconvenient things

Unfettered #economicgrowth is not sustainable in a finite world

Must we in the developed world continue to pursue it at the expense of the #environment? That is short sighted. Can we pull our heads out of the sand and talk about this?

Already read Prosperity W/O Growth by Tim Jackson. Any other recommendations?
