So rude that time not only progresses when I want to hyperfocus, but actually seems to speed up?!
And then to add insult to injury, I couldn't even focus for most of the day because I didn't sleep well last night, and now I don't want to sleep because the focus is finally kicking in, but Lord I am tired!! 🙄

Bcos in the 90s we all had enough disposal income to buy magazines and whole books about random odd shit, and free time to sit around passively reading that information
And that's completely gone now because of the Internet - we just have the news all day, and we're obliged to have opinions about it - there's no space to just be like "...huh?!" any more, and it shows!! 🤔
