My son took me to see the Doobie Brothers. I wasn't expecting much, so I was very surprised that they still sound like they're in their prime. They played a new song (from their upcoming album) for the first time...and it was actually good!

My boy is unaware of his ancestry. It's just not important enough to talk about. (At age 7, what's he going to do with the info, anyway?)

I mention this because he's been doodling lately, and his creations almost always have text and often some image, and he doesn't know that the last immigrant in his family tree came from Wales.

This is how my Kindergartner gets to school most days. I put a tiny 30t elliptical chainring on the #bike so my old, worn out body can climb 10% grades.
