Why did Apple choose to release the updates to Numbers, Pages etc. as separate apps instead of updating the existing ones and how is is possible that the file system allow them to exist simultaneously when the bundles have the same file name?

Remember back when you dropped support for iOS 15 and celebrated that you never had to support the tiny iPhone 5/SE screen size again?

Well, bad news. Your app still runs on the iPhone 5 resolution.

When onboarding a new phone, the user is asked if they want to enable “Larger Text”. This actually reduces the resolution of the screen and it affects all apps. Incidentally, the newest iPhone SE’s resolution is lowered to the iPhone 5 resolution. Try it out in Developer setting in Simulator.

Apple Vision is mind blowingly impressive tech, but I can’t help feeling that if it gets as ubiquitous as the iPhone, the future is going to be depressing.

I mean is this really going to be an acceptable way to interact with each other? Do I really want to escape from coworkers and family to immerse myself in my emails or watch a movie alone?
