Just wondering when the FBI are going to announce that the 100,000-device SIM farm was not a nation-state attack, but a mobile-number rental service which 99% of the users use to rent a mobile number to pass 2FA SMS checks on their Netflix or Amazon account.
Which forums are useful for serious enterprise cybersecurity discussion these days - anonymous to allow honest opinions? I guess Reddit is OK, but lack of engagement. LinkedIn is a slopfest. There used to be a good one that shut down a couple of years ago. What else?

As the powers at be have covered up this new #Banksy work, the only proper course of action by a concerned population is to spread the image as far and wide as we can before it disappears.

White supremacy fascism is when you pardon 1600 violent Nazi insurrectionists who tried to overthrow democracy and beat hundreds of cops, killing several, but then claim DC is violent despite 30 year lows in crime, including a 26% drop last year.

It was never about law and order. It was always about advancing his autocratic rule, because he's a fascist.

Sincere flattery is asking for a meeting with your most lead analyst, with experience working in gov, to review your new Government slide deck, and then finding that, in the few weeks between saving the draft in SharePoint and holding the meeting, they had already stumbled across it, liked it, and adopted it as their own

Hi all. It's been a while since I've asked, but I'm here again asking for you to support your local fediverse instance. I know many instance operators struggle to make ends meet each month, and there does seem to be a downward trend on donations across the board. If you love this place and are in a position to and your instance supports it, please consider supporting them.

Thank you!

Help request. My brother has Stage 4 colorectal cancer.

His life insurance has refused to pay out on a technicality, meaning he and his loved ones cannot afford the mortgage on their home.

I've never asked for anything in return for infosec stuff, but if you have anything spare, please chuck it this direction instead:
