The danger of relying on AI - it doesn't think at all, it culls information from the internet, which if we continue to rely on AI will become more and more false, and it actually makes up BS if it does not have information, then lies about the sources. Can you see where this would end up?

@b_fung Hey Brian, Your article at CNN today stated that Mastodon has 1 Million users. Currently the number of Mastodon accounts is over 8.5 Million, and over 2 Million active accounts. Wikipedia is way out of date for data on this 😉​

HEY GOOGLE...

My wife alternately uses a radio in the kitchen and a Google Mini. I never know which is on, since she normally streams radio on the Mini. Tonight I once again said 'Hey Google - stop playing', and of course Google said 'Nothing is Playing' while the radio blared music. The last couple of days, Google Mini has decided to fight back, and whenever ask it to stop playing, not long after we leave the room, it turns itself back on. It's like they really do have a mind of their own.
