Older women are truly holding the world together, and for the most part they do it silently and without thanks.

Thank you.

@maxoakland -- LOL... That's just it... The thing to do was to vote.
With Trump already holding the Supreme Court and having Presidential immunity, and no checks and balances AT ALL if the House falls like the Senate.
The system is DESIGNED like this. The GOP can pass laws and the president will sign them, without any vote by a Democrat.
We are all subject to this system and the only plan for any individual to escape this system were the same for people fleeing Germany/Europe 1930's.
@jeffowski I think a lot of them primarily want, at any cost, that sense of permission provided by a figure like Trump to exercise their worst most unkind inner compulsions & to not be held to any expectations to act more decently or like better versions of themselves. I think they’re afraid they could never meet those expectations, & it is more ideal in their minds to elect someone who can sink the status quo down to their level so that it’s not a concern for them anymore.

Project 2025.

It's here. But what is it?

Let's go through this together. What's real, what's lies and what is straight up disinfo...

#Project2025

You know something, it’s been a very distressing 40 or so hours, & I’m starting to think that watching Fear the Walking Dead is not helping me calm down, for some reason.
@MonarchLady  It sucks to know that things were cut so short so cruelly, even a few generations later. I understand- I also have very limited family myself, partly because my father’s mother died very young of lymphoma, which they were unable/ unwilling to accurately diagnose for her until it was much too late.
@MonarchLady Ugh. 😩 Yeah, it’s a brutal waste of precious life that folks have suffered so terribly from the lack of effective treatments. I can’t even imagine what your paternal grandmother had to go through in her last days & I think most people nowadays are comfortably removed from just how Hellish these scenarios can be.
