Not really called scribblans.
It's an anglicised spelling of the Cornish word 'skryblans', meaning a scribble/doodle.
This is the ffs edition (FireFish Social)

Not funny. Also, not serious.

Would rather be out walking on a Cornish clifftop with my dog. Probably am.

Anything else?

Hmm...
Hats.
Hats are nice.
Some day I'll log in and find it all working well.

Some day.
@DavidTanner Looks like one of the lenses you could buy for a darkroom enlarger. Yes, should be M39

Morning weather report in #575Poetry

grey, misty, drizzly
still, mellow, yet not fruitful

Please can anyone thinking of replying 'RTFM' include a link to the 'FM'. Thank you.
Now we're feeling all snappy and working again, can we have a look at notifications and them not showing any difference between read or unread? I'm always looking down that column (deck view) and wondering if anyone thinks I'm rude for not answering, when it's just the fact I can't easily see it's not been read, so have missed a reply.
My mastodon instance shows any new notifications received with a thin blue line down the left side in advanced web view, which easily makes it stand out - and 'mark as read' removes it.

And what the heck does this mean? Seen when trying to post this edit.

You will experience climate change through a series of increasingly wild videos, until one day it's you taking the video.

So far, so good.
Good morning (it is here anyway)
Just thought I'd try a post on firefish for a change. I'll be sure not to make any sudden movements after pressing the post button and see what happens...
@kainoa Is it just me or does the text not go as close to the edges of the post box/cards now (in deck view)? Seems to be a bit more readable in deck mode.... or is that just the font making me think that...
Anyway, upshot is 'more readable' so that's good!
When my brain replays an unexpected embarrassing or shameful episode to me, I have worked out a thought strategy that seems to work... I consciously tell myself that the only place in the whole observable and beyond universe that this thought is happening, the only place that the required atoms are bashing together to make this thought happen at all, is in my head, right now.

The people involved aren't thinking of it and don't remember it, the time that it happened is long gone, and the planets, galaxies and stars are just moving on and going about, continuing to do their thing, regardless of what my neurons happen to be doing...

It kind of helps.
