After downsizing my #FreeBSD #Linode server to their $5/mo plan I had to abandon the #Nextcloud instance I had originally administered due to disk space constraints. But fear not, for I had come up with a solution to run Nextcloud from a #Jail in my home #FreeNAS server and using my FreeBSD VPS as a reverse proxy via #Nginx along with #Letsencrypt for SSL. Everything is now working as intended and I have a crap-ton more space than ever before!

Today I met my personal project goal to get #zfstools working on my #FreeBSD VPS for #ZFS auto-snapshots and then use #zxfer to automatically send those snapshots to my remote backup host.

For national #FreeBSD day, I created a new #Linode FreeBSD VPS using encrypted #ZFS.

I began to create some self-signed certificates for a few services I have running on my home #FreeNAS Jails. My plan is to use #Nginx as a reverse proxy from my #FreeBSD VPS to provide proxy access to said services. But that all can wait. Right now it's sleepy time.
