Honestly, sometimes it's legit difficult to notice when we've gotten more emotionally invested than we'd realized in seeming right.

@jaffathecake Agreed. `auto` often feels like the default in CSS. `match-id` or something would make things clearer if people want a shorthand for that but it does seem like an anti-pattern.
