In addition to my previous post, I have found on an iPhone if you enter a table within an email or any table, you can use your rotor by rotating with two fingers either clockwise or anticlockwise until you hear Rose and then you can flick left and right to move between each cell and flicking up and down will read that particular column and move you from row to row. This is also very useful and I had no idea that this even existed on the iPhone even though I have been using the iPhone for years using VoiceOver. I have not needed this function until now so wanted to share this knowledge with others here.
I have another great tip here for those who receive emails or documents that contain tables with rows and columns. I just discovered that if for example you receive a daily spam report from your email provider that is set up in rows and columns. if using Jaws, when you enter the table by arrowing down, use alt control and left and right arrows to navigate each cell and using alt control up and down arrows moves down one cell or row and reads it. My daily spam reports can sometimes be 50 pages long and using the above navigation commands really cut my reading time in half. Wanted to share this with everyone here.
Greetings everyone. I just wanted to pass on this tip that I had today and thought that it may be useful. I was trying to order some food via an app and for whatever reason, I was not able to get past the car to place my order. I then decided to restart my phone and the app in question and this made no difference. I then signed out of the affected app and signed back in and the issue was resolved. The moral of this tale is, if everything else you have tried has not worked sometimes signing out of the app and signing back in can fix issues like this one without having to reinstall the app first. This is assuming that there are no technical difficulties with the app which in this instance there are not because my support worker was able to place an order on the same app when I was trying to and had no issues so the problem was a glitch with my particular account on the app and it is all fixed now after signing back in. I hope this tip is useful.

I did hear rumours of this happening however, I did not expect no iPhone 18 standard version this year.
Greetings everyone. I’m wondering whether something is not right on my pixel eight regarding talkback 16.2. If I’m remember incorrectly, I thought talk back 16.2 came out on 7 November but I haven’t received it as of yet on my pixel eight and it’s now December 28. I have checked the play store numerous times I know Google delay the release of talkback but I figured by now I should’ve had the talkback release here in Australia. Wondering if anybody has any thoughts or comments on this? Thanks everyone.

Pneuma SolutionsGreetings everyone. I have discovered a serious iPhone mail bug in iOS 26.2. apple accessibility have confirmed that they know about the bug and are working on a fix. The bug is when composing an email on the iPhone using mail, if you wish to insert an attachment or photo or anything else, you can not locate the toolbar using voiceover. A work around is to double tap and hold when focus is in the message body and after tapping and holding for 2 or 3 seconds, wait for a second or 2 and flick to the right and you should hear options including forward and if you tap on forward you then will hear insert photo insert attachment and other options. This can be hit or miss so for now this is the only way to access the format tool bar within mail.
Greetings everyone. For those who own the meta glasses, I upgraded to version 21.0 on the original meta glasses and there is a new feature if you link your Spotify app to the Meta app, you can tell the glasses create a mix based on what you can see. It’s a little bit of a hit and miss it does actually work so I looked out of my window and the glasses created me a calming instrumental mix because it saw trees and plants out of the window. I then looked at some headphones speakers and a microphone and it created a retro gaming mix. This is lots of fun so give it a try and you can enjoy the mixes that it builds for you based on the pictures that it sees.
I have a WhatsApp tip here for WhatsApp users. I don’t know when this changed however, when tapping on new chat in WhatsApp, once you have found the contact that you wish to correspond with, when you tap on the contact, you will hear selected and the name of the contact. What I couldn’t work out was then how to message that contact so toward the top of the screen there will be a message button. Double tap this button and the compose window will open and you could leave a voice message or type a message to the contact that you chose in the previous step. I hope this tip is useful.
After having upgraded to Mona 7 I had to go and modify the notifications that I did not want to be notified about. If you wish to do the same, this is found under settings push notifications tap on your account and you can turn on and off the notifications you do not care about. I thought when the app was synced from the old app I thought the notification preferences may have been carried across but this does not appear to be the case. This also needs to be checked on your Mac as well as your iPad.
