@fack alright, how do I migrate this, give me a server req
@fack I can't imagine anyone I know having psychic beef w you cause you got a spicy take on mastodon protocol stuff
Cause everything James Tiptree wrote can be made to sound sexist as hell when you summarize it, but it turns out to be rather radically feminist when you actually read it (or when you read their Wikipedia page).
You all remember that "I sexually identify as a attack helicopter" short story a while back, that some people thought was transphobic, but which was intended by its (closeted trans) author as a radical exploration of the idea of gender as a technology? We should call the tendency of some scifi stories to be "double read" like that the "Tiptree effect"
@fack I feel that. Youre interested or youre not, tho
@wannaberiotgirl oh, lol, you were making a point about men acting like they know shit when they dont. To be clear, I dont know shit about krauts, I just molds are kind of cool, and was into bokashi as a hobby a while back
@wannaberiotgirl what color was the mold?
@fack its all about values and caring when they need you to fill the chair. The second its not in their economic interest to employ you, the tone will shift to "this is just an exchange relationship, its just common sense". The latter is, of course the truer one, and all this value shit is just so much smoke to make you forget that youre in a negotiation for the value of your time
@fack oh, nm. I thought you were talking about mastodon
@fack seems like a good use of it to me, homes. Kind of the point, really.
