This site had a traditional Chinese tower(楼) since the 1400s. But the original building was destroyed and it’s been rebuilt several times. In 2009, the city decided to redevelop it from a 1970s rebuilt. It is now build in traditional style but with copper. I found this super cool. Here is a Chinese website explaining its history a bit. Kitty may have figured out the heatpump. She rarely sits with me on the sofa, two days in roll now. We are the bad people who took away the gas heater for a heatpump.
