Sooo.. first iteration of seeing multiple benchmark runs for comparison for a single board. What do we think?

Being able to compare stock vs overclocked Raspberry Pi 5 for example would be really helpful in knowing whether it's worth it, as you'll see the power and performance numbers side by side.

Same with comparing SoM carrier boards. Are you able to get everything out of cheap carrier boards? Can they handle everything under the highest loads? Soon we can find out!

Finally putting some time into getting the multi-run indicators and comparison logic into place!

This means that you'd be able to compare things like multiple OS, overclocked runs, different carrier boards for SoMs, or see how performance changed over time with OS updates. Useful, huh?

I'm more excited about this than I should be, but I'm very happy that I put everything in for this in the backend from the beginning, it's making things a lot easier now 😅

For those of you enjoying my auction escapades, you'll be happy to know I nabbed a #raspberrypi Model B+ v1.2 along with an ASUS Tinker Board (2GB RAM) this evening (€22 and €19 respectively!) so I guess we should have those up within a week or so if you're into that kind of thing #sbc

There are currently 15 System on Modules (like the #raspberrypi Compute Modules) available for comparison, with more pending testing. A lot are drop-in replacements for things like the CM4/CM5, are any of you lovely people making use of CMs?!

The most expensive board we've tested so far is the Radxa Fogwise Airbox Q900 with 36GB RAM. It's in a completely different league from the usual SBCs most people look at.

It doesn't come out on top for performance, but that's not the entire picture!
