Music fan. You can see stuff I like or am curious about at https://bandcamp.com/saucer (even though I now use Qobuz or Apple Music most of the time because their streaming players sound much better and they’re not anti worker, as far as I know)

Pretty serious about meditation and pretty crap at it.

@woj @Holette the one time i got to see Gibby & co was in the late ’80s at The 930 Club in DC, with lots of fire onstage and the “dancer” continuously taking her clothes off and putting them back on all through the show #listeningClub

i haven't really traveled any distance, to speak of, only for a concert, but i once arranged to stay over a few days in Toronto (traveling from Northern California) on a work trip so I could see The Hidden Cameras at (edit) The Opera House, playing with Gentleman Reg, December 2009. To the extent that counts, it was 4,295 km
