"Priyanga is not a warm, fuzzy person, and she does not suffer fools” Might you ever wonder why scientists or faculty of colour are not the warmest or fuzziest?! Fitting in on the terms of the old boys does not nurture warmth. I have so so welcomed the diversity of my younger colleagues and often wished that I could do it all over again. Never being asked about my education, my accent, even my freaking religion. Amarasekare is brilliant .
