I've finished the donkey and compiled some trivia about his creation. I started on the 9th of July, by creating a small clay model to serve as a detailed base for the raw pattern. By the 13th I had digitized and resized the pattern (250%). I officially began work on the actual plushie on the 17th, after doing some initial testing. Completing him took me 60 hours over a period of ten days. He's completely handmade and is made from 133 pieces. Sizewise he is very close to my calves.
