Bree Devanagari is dropping next week, and I’m so, so happy to have this one out in the world soon.

Go get a sneak peek at @typetogether 🍬 🧁 https://www.type-together.com/bree-devanagari-sneak-peek

To get slightly more context, read also my article on Progressive Web Components (just published!):

Progressive Web Components

Introducing Elena, a simple, tiny library for building Progressive Web Components. Unlike most web component libraries, Elena doesn’t force JavaScript for everything. You can load HTML and CSS first, then use JavaScript to progressively add interactivity.

A relief from the hideous icons in macOS menus. https://mastodon.social/@stroughtonsmith/116262411548746327

It doesn't work with all icons and apps (esp. Safari). But, it is better than before.

This only solves one side of the equation, making use of a LLMs models. Still these massive power computing infrastructure is needed _to create_ such models from stolen content humans have ever create.

As far I read, creation of the models needs massive computing power.

Every so called open source data model has been cloned from the models created/published by the corporates.

There is no such thing as ethical general purpose LLMs.
