So before Elon Musk took over Twitter, I'd get some form of racist harassment maybe every other month. Since he's taken over, it's more like every other week.

These images come from a thread in which I criticized Quentin Tarantino's wanton use of the N-word (among other things), and said that Tarantino, as a White man, should keep that fucking word out of his mouth, period.

I know neither Elon Musk nor Quentin Tarantino will see this, but I want you guys to both to know something: you are vectors of hate. You are fathers to hateful trolls. The most racist people on the internet feel like they are speaking for you, and whether you're personally racist or not, you bear responsibility for the hate you've brought into the world.

I look forward to the day you have to reckon with this.

But one last thing...
Stick a fork in it guys, the party's over
For you J-lingual cats out there...

With sealioning or any other kind of bad-faith argument online, the actual goal is to make you angry and get you to say or do something that makes you look like the bad guy.

It's taken me a long time to get here, but I can keep cool online now because I can see when someone is really trying to express their beliefs and when they're trying to bait me. The longer it goes on, the more obvious their attempts become, backfiring on them.
